Product Introduction

【Please note】

When placing an order, please ensure that you have carefully reviewed all the contents of the detail page and understood the structure and the size of the imaging screen of the product; meanwhile, before placing an order, please communicate with the customer service: inform them of such information as your vehicle model year, whether it is a pure gasoline vehicle, and whether it is a right-hand drive vehicle, etc., so that they can judge the compatibility and structural suitability of your vehicle for installing this HUD.

1.This is a high-end HUD with a split structure that supports wireless Carplay/Hicar/Android auto projection + 2-3 meters of aerial imaging (which can only be seen through an optical lens). This split structure HUD is very rare, and there are currently only 2 models on the market. The others are all integrated machines

2. Navigation from the wireless carplay projection screen

3. Support wireless carplay, Android auto, hicars three screen projection systems, you can
project a variety of original maps in the phone。
【Note】This HUD can only receive screen mirroring from mobile phones and cannot receive screen mirroring from the central control navigation (i.e., the car infotainment system). This is because both the central control navigation and the HUD belong to devices that can be projected onto. Therefore, the central control navigation cannot project its screen to the HUD. However, when a mobile phone projects its screen to the HUD, the sound can still come out through the speakers of the central control navigation, thus not affecting music playback.

4. Split HUD, the main engine and lens are separated, the main engine is attached to the overhead glass, and the lens is on the instrument panel. Through the lens, you can see the picture from 2-3 meters away, reducing the eyeball to zoom back and forth in front of the obstacles and HUD screen, which is safer.

5. The use of high brightness car gauge level host screen, the daytime backlight is also clear. In addition, there are automatic brightness adjustment, automatic adjustment of
brightness with environmental changes: clear during the day, not dazzling at night.

6.This HUD's main unit is equipped with built-in GPS and Beidou satellite positioning modules. When installed in the car cigarette lighter mode (i.e., GPS mode), it can display: GPS speed, GPS altitude, GPS direction, latitude and longitude, GPS time, and navigation (navigation requires phone projection via CarPlay, Android Auto, or HiCar). The installation mode using the cigarette lighter has no compatibility issues and can be installed in almost all household cars as long as the structure permits.

7.Installation mode of connecting to the OBD line (The OBD installation mode requires connecting to the car's OBD with an OBD plug wire): On the premise of OBD communication compatibility in the car, compared to the installation mode of connecting to the cigarette lighter, it also adds OBD data such as OBD speed, rotation speed, water temperature, voltage, etc. (Some vehicle models do not output certain data) [The installation mode of connecting to the OBD only supports pure fuel vehicles of some brands. Please confirm with customer service before placing an order]

8.This HUD consists of three parts: the main unit, the optical lens, and the power cord
(1) [Position of the main unit]: The main unit is attached to the glass on the top of the head with 3M adhesive tape, and the main unit needs to be wired
(2)[Optical Lens Position] The optical lens is not wired. Now it is equipped with the upgraded optical lens - the hanging optical lens. The hanging base of the optical lens is attached to the windshield with 3M glue. (The hanging optical lens can also be turned upside down with the base facing down and placed on the car dashboard like a common placed optical lens, but the placement mode is not the recommended installation mode, and the effect is not as good as the hanging mode)
(3) *** [Screen display]: Pay special attention to the fact that the screen is not displayed on the car windshield, but requires an optical lens to see the image. The image that can be seen by the human eye through the optical lens is displayed in the air at a distance of 2-3 meters (the distance between the optical lens and the host varies, resulting in different distances for the image, and there is no specific standard. The distance between the image and the human eye is generally more than 2 meters)
**Important note: When driving, you can look ahead normally without staring at the optical lens. If necessary, you can use your peripheral vision to see
(4)**HUD is a safety device, so the displayed picture won't be too large (a too large picture affects the line of sight). Different distances between the optical lens and the main unit will result in different sizes of the HUD display picture; within a certain range (the distance between the optical lens and the main unit cannot exceed 44.5 centimeters): the farther the distance between the optical lens and the main unit, the larger the HUD display picture will be. Therefore, there is no specific standard for the size of the HUD display picture; According to actual installation cases, the virtual image size displayed by this HUD is usually approximately 5.5 - 6 inches on most vehicles. [For very few vehicles with overly narrow dashboard space, the distance between the HUD main unit and the optical lens is too close, resulting in the HUD display picture possibly being slightly smaller than 5.5inches.]

(5)[For right-hand drive vehicles] The inclination of the main unit of this HUD is fixed, so it is structurally compatible with left-hand drive vehicles by default. However, we have a method that allows you to install it on your right-hand drive car.You can ask our customer service staff for specific handling methods.

(6)[Product size]Lens size: high 59mm wide120mm;
Lens including base size: total heightApproximately 85mm - 9.5mm (The height varies due to different base inclination angles) , width 120mm;
Host display part: width67mm high 50mm thick25mm;
Host base part: width 62mm long 123mm;
Overall size of the host: length 123mm width 65mm; height 55mm;
Maximum power 18w

***In order to comply with international logistics transportation regulations, we will remove the button battery from the remote control and take a picture of it for you. This battery is a common type of universal battery that you can purchase locally.

Now what we are equipped with is the latest hanging optical lens with better effect.

The hanging optical lens significantly enhances the suspension effect of the HUD, enabling the split HUD to truly reach the upper limit of the display effect. It has 4 major benefits:
(1) It can prevent the HUD display picture from shaking when the car is moving. Compared to placing the optical lens on the dashboard, the HUD with the hanging optical lens has almost no shaking of the display picture.
(2) The suspension feeling of the picture is greatly enhanced.
(3) Compared to the mode of placing the optical lens on the dashboard, the height is more guaranteed. [In practice, it doesn't need to be pasted very high; just a little higher than the placement mode.] It is suitable for SUVs or other vehicles with taller glass.
It adapts to special-structured dashboards. For example, the currently popular ultra-wide central control vehicle machine blocks the dashboard. At this time, using the hanging optical lens is not restricted by the structure of the dashboard.

Example of the Support Range for OBD Installation Modes

The following is a list of pure gasoline vehicle models arranged by year. For these listed models, if the OBD port is not occupied, not connected to a one-to-two OBD device, and no 360-degree four-way camera is installed, the OBD installation mode may be feasible. However, there may be compatibility differences in individual models, and there is a possibility of incompatibility with OBD. For specific details, please consult customer service. In addition, this HUD is not compatible with vehicles with vertical windshields (for example, Hummer is not applicable due to structural incompatibility). If you purchase the OBD speed version, it will come with two cables: one OBD cable and one cigarette lighter cable. If the OBD is not compatible, you can use the cigarette lighter for power supply (GPS speed will be displayed when using the cigarette lighter; there are no compatibility issues with the cigarette lighter). Models not listed below may only be compatible with the cigarette lighter: for example, BYD, Hongqi, Land Rover, Jaguar, or other models (please consult customer service for specific details).

When you use the OBD installation mode, the voltage compatibility range that the OBD plug of the HUD can withstand is 12 - 15V. It does not support voltages of 24V and above. [That is, the OBD installation mode is not suitable for medium - and large - sized diesel vehicles, because those vehicles use 24V power supply].
