Two men are being questioned after gardaí seized almost €3m worth of heroin in Dublin city.
More than 21kg of the drug was discovered in Coolock last night as part of an investigation by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
The heroin was in 1kg blocks.
A 34-year-old Spanish man and a 44-year-old man from the UK were arrested and are being questioned in Dublin garda stations.
They are being detained under anti-gang legislation and can be held for up to a week.
Gardaí suspect the seizure could be linked to the Dublin-based organised crime group known as 'The Family' but say they are still trying to establish its origin and ownership.
